I love the notion of beautiful wooden objects hand crafted from the recovered forests of the northern Bronx. And it appears that Ivan Braun, with the help of the New York Botanical Garden, is doing exactly that.
In an interview in the NY Times today he talks about creating wonderfully simple pieces from selected trees that have been salvaged from the garden.
